The purpose of Certificates and documents authentication in the State of Qatar is to officially verify the authenticity of the seal and signature on the document, whether it was issued inside or outside Qatar. This is done by submitting the document to the relevant ministries within the country and abroad, as well as to embassies and consulates for official approval.
There are two types of certificates and documents that may require attestation in the State of Qatar:
Certificates and Internal Documents (for use within Qatar):
Individuals who possess certificates or documents issued outside the State of Qatar and wish to use them within the country must have these documents attested by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure their official acceptance by government entities, ministries, banks, embassies, or any official authority within Qatar.
Certificates and External Documents (for use outside Qatar):
Individuals who possess certificates or documents issued within the State of Qatar and wish to use them abroad must have these documents attested by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure their international recognition and acceptance by government entities, ministries, banks, embassies, or any other official authority outside the country.
